Terms of Service

1. Service description

MentionCatch monitors public Reddit content, qualifies mentions with AI, and provides lead intelligence to help founders find and respond to relevant conversations. We do not post to Reddit on your behalf — you always copy and post replies manually.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to spam or harass Reddit users.
• Abuse rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage quotas.
• Use automated tools to scrape the dashboard.
• Misrepresent AI-generated replies as organic conversation.
• Violate Reddit's Terms of Service using data from MentionCatch.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person per account — sharing credentials is not permitted.

4. Intellectual property

MentionCatch and its interface are owned by us. Reddit content displayed in the dashboard belongs to its respective authors. AI-generated reply drafts are yours to use however you see fit.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Plans and pricing are as displayed on our website. We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers. Billing is handled through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, who processes payments and manages sales tax on our behalf.

6. Limitation of liability

MentionCatch is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee lead quality, conversion rates, or Reddit availability. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon termination, your data is handled per our Privacy Policy.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec, Canada.

9. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days notice. We will notify you of changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of MentionCatch after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Lifetime access definition

“Lifetime Access” means access to MentionCatch for the duration of the product's existence, not the lifetime of the customer. We reserve the right to discontinue the service with 30 days notice.

11. AI-generated content disclaimer

AI-generated suggestions, replies, and lead scores provided by MentionCatch may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Users should review all AI-generated content before use. MentionCatch is not responsible for any consequences resulting from use of AI-generated content without review.

12. Reddit disclaimer

MentionCatch is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit Inc. Reddit is a trademark of Reddit Inc.

13. Service limits

Users are limited to the following number of monitored projects based on their subscription plan:

• Monthly plan ($19/mo): 3 projects
• Yearly plan ($190/yr): 5 projects
• Lifetime plan ($199): 5 projects

MentionCatch reserves the right to suspend accounts that exceed these limits or abuse the service.
